So today we will be reviewing the worst and best of Betsey Johnson's Dresses.
If you don't know who she is, we will tell you some facts about her. She is a famous fashion designer, she designs for Disney shows like "Sonny With A Chance" etc. She was inspired by the dance costumes she would wear in recitals. As people say she is one of the most known designers in the world. She was also voted as one of the top-ten BEST designers. Her Dresses are perfect for any occasion!
We've Chosen two dresses: one is the best, and one is the worst.The Pictures are posted above. But the criticism is all right here. Please post your opinions when you comment! Anyway, We will start with the Worst dress. Out of the 2 dresses above, we have chosen the one on your right. We all agree on the fact that It looks like it's been drawn on. Totally fake! What would you think if you saw someone in the mall wearing that you wouldn't think oh my, a famous fashion designer made that, you would think, what a freak! Let's start with the good things about the dress. The Pink trim borders the dress perfectly. It shows that you can wear a dress in a cozy T-shirt way while still being stylish. The color of the dress is a classic, light beige with a bright color (like pink) to make the outfit POP!
Now, hold on to your seats, this may get a little scary. Let's take a look at the middle. Right smack in the middle of this dress is a road to destruction, a.k.a, The lace. the fake lace that leads up to a fake bow tie. Eww! What is fashionable about that? NOTHING! It looks like something you would print out and iron onto your shirt. Absolutely horrible!
Now, Let's refresh our minds and look at the blue dress. A big blue and white flower sits right at the Left corner of the dress. Usually, we don't like big flowers. Sometimes they're to flashy and Gothic. But on this dress, it works. It's not to big, But it's just big enough to be a nice accessory. Without it, it would be boring. Fashion is meant to stand out! To top it off, the dress has a thick black belt that shows those curves in your body. The belt is stretched to make it look wrinkled horizontally. If you have a dress that needs a little more, then add a thick belt to complete your sense of Fashion.
Now for the colors and flows of the dress. As you can see from the picture above the dress is flowing but only to the knee, this is becoming the new fashion of the year. The colors of the dress are simple but also complex. It is almost tie-die, with various shades of blue and black merged together throughout the dress. Near the bottom, dark blue and black colors correlate well, while the colors start to increase lightly on the way up.
